Directions to Inn at the Canal

Traveling South on I-95 (this is a scenic route and eliminates a $4 toll): Exit 1-A, Route 896 S. This crosses the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal at Summit Bridge. On the south side of the Canal take the first right onto Rte. 15. towards Chesapeake City. At the rotary bear right on to Rte. 286 West. Follow to the Canal, where the road takes a left turn. Pass Chesapeake Inn on the right and at the top of the hill at the stop sign turn right onto Bohemia Avenue. Inn is the second building on the right.

Traveling North on I-95: Exit 100, Route 272 S. toward North East. (right turn). Follow to Route 40 E., turn left and travel approx 8 miles to Rt. 213 and 40. Turn right onto Route 213 South. Travel approximately 7 miles, cross the Chesapeake City Bridge, and at the base turn right into South Chesapeake City. At the stop sign turn left onto George Street. Turn right at the 3rd block onto 2nd Street. Turn left at the next corner onto Bohemia Avenue. Inn is the second building on the right.

From Bay Bridge: 301 North to 213 North, approximately 45 miles. Before crossing the Chesapeake City Bridge exit to the right and continue along George Street. Turn right on 2nd Street and left on Bohemia Avenue. Inn is the second building on the right.

PARKING:  We have limited parking for 4 cars behind the inn for guests.  From Bohemia Ave, circle around Pell Gardens, and when Bohemia Ave turns onto 1st street, Inn parking will be on the left.  There is also public town parking on the street in front of the inn.
