Oyster Fest Returns

Warmer weather is finally on its way in and one of the best things to do this time of year is to visit Priapi Gardens for the second annual Oyster Fest. Enjoy mouthwatering seafood and craft beer in the unique setting of the glass garden greenhouse and celebrate the arrival of spring.

Located in Cecilton, Priapi Gardens grows a full range of gardening plants and hosts a year-round on-site farm market with certified organic produce. Plants include annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, tropical plants, pond plants, seeds, and more. The market features local foods that are either natural or organic including Sassafras River Beef, Bohemia Lea Farm chicken, Two Oceans True Foods wild-caught fish, Trickling Springs dairy products, Mother Earth mushrooms, and much more. You can find Priapi Gardens’ organic produce year-round at the on-site farm stand and at farmers markets like the Easton Farmers’ Market, Kent Island, and Newark Natural Foods.

Bayheads Brewing Co. beer will be available for purchase alongside additional light snacks at the event. Bring a picnic basket to enjoy with your oyster as each ticket is good for a dozen oysters on the half-shell. If you think you’ll bring a large appetite as well, just purchase more tickets for another dozen oysters.
