Chesapeake City’s Canal Race 5k Run/Walk

The annual Chesapeake City Canal Race 5k Run/Walk takes you along a scenic route along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Registration is just $25.00 and it all benefits Chesapeake City‘s Recycling Program which has earned the town the award of Top Recycling Town for the past seven years. Whether you’re looking for things to do, or finding new things to try, the Canal Race 5k Run/Walk is a great way to spend a morning along the C&D Canal for a good cause and become a member of our local community.

Receive a Chesapeake City commemorative t-shirt and enjoy rivets from Pretzel Factory, fruit from Schaefer’s Canal House, and refreshments after your race. Stay tuned for the awards for top masters, overall winners, age groups, and top three male and female walkers.
